A 4.5 lb shuffler combat robot with an overhead weapon, built from scratch for competitive combat robotics.
Overview
NALU is a overhead attack robot that takes advantage of 1.5x weight bonus given to robots with non conventional locomotion. designed and built for competitive combat robotics. What really makes this robot unique is the 15in AR600 weapon that it uses for attack.
Mechanical Design
The chassis uses TPU walls that can be easily removed and replaced, top and bottom plaates are carbon fiber, besides the main bottom plate that is 2mm titanium. The drive uses drone motors and a dual cam shuffler mechanism.

Electronics & Control
A sunnysky v4008 motor is used for the weapon and a tekko 45 is the esc used. Two 550 mah 3s lipo batteries are used in parallel to power the robot.
Results
NALU competed its first event at CMRC and is now undergoing design revisions to improve reliability of the shufflers.
